Lost another puppy this morning....

Prince George Rainer Stout left us this morning... to play in puppy heaven. We lost Diane just over a month and a half ago.... It is fitting that it should rain today. Love you fluffy butt.

A small visit...

Mat has been training in Louisiana for the month of August. He called this evening to say that he will be home on a 4 day pass in a few weeks. It will be nice to see him. Miss him like crazy.

Danny's failing gall bladder..

My wonderful husband has been reduced to a whining, attention craving, bratty child.... and all of this from a little bitty gall bladder... I am forced to wonder why we have those pesky little things anyway. So they are running a function test with contrast on the 19th... he has already endured numerous blood tests and an ultra sound... and it's not the fun kind where you get to make big announcements.... So there are no stones but there is obviously something not right. They are talking surgury. We will have to wait and see. Just so that Tradesman doesn't call him into work before it gets fixed. Love to all!

In different news...

Matthew and Jennifer broke off the engagement. It was the most mature conversation I had ever had with my son.... Although it makes me sad, I am aware that this is for the best.


Side note: it has to STOP raining on the weekends so that I can have a yard sale.

Yes, I let Gabbi and Braxton spend as much time together as possible
Yes, I am aware everyday how much this sucks

No, I am not going to treat her like she is a bad person and punish her (she does that to herself already). I was hoping for support, I don't need reminded of how crappy the situation is.... I am reminded often enough. Those of you who can't get past the situation and on to being supportive and helpful are not welcome to comment.... We don't need it.

Matthew called to announce that he is getting married. Her name is Jennifer Fuller and she seems nice enough (or so the girls tell me). So any way, there you have it..... when did he get to be old enough to make that decision...... sniff sniff
